Meet The Team

Dr. Manubay, originally from Louisville, Kentucky, graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Allegheny College in 1986. He then completed a fellowship at Case Western Reserve University Pulmonary and Critical Care, contributing to several published papers during his six-year tenure. After earning his degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992, he gained experience under a seasoned veterinarian before purchasing Center West Animal Hospital in 1998. In his downtown, he enjoys riding his motorcycle, playing guitar, spending time with his GSP "Koeda", and traveling with his family. 

Dr. Laura LoBuglio, a dedicated veterinarian from Northeast Ohio with a biochemistry degree from Miami University and a DVM from the University of Minnesota, Dr. Laura has a rich background in both small and mixed animal practices. Passionate about forming strong connections with her patients and their families, she focuses on creating personalized care plans for everyone. Outside of her practice, Dr. Laura enjoys life on her family farm, where she shares her home with her two beautiful children, two dogs, two cats, thirteen chickens, and her husband, along with her hobbies of gardening, sewing, and biking.

Kim is a seasoned sales and marketing leader with over 24 years of experience driving client relations and strategic growth. A Cleveland native, Kim earned her BA and MBA Summa Cum Laude from Baldwin Wallace University, where she specialized in International Business. Her commitment to excellence extends beyond the boardroom; she is a recipient of the YWCA’s Women of Professional Excellence award and the Shining Star Award for her extensive community service. When she isn’t volunteering or traveling, Kim enjoys life as a dedicated mom and spends time with her German Shorthaired Pointer, Koeda.

Lindy Bruening serves as the Practice Manager at Center West Animal Hospital, bringing over 20 years of dedicated animal-care experience to the team. Since joining the hospital in 2016, Lindy has held various roles—from Customer Service Representative to Veterinary Assistant—giving her a comprehensive understanding of clinical operations and client needs. Today, she uses that expertise to lead the practice with compassion and reliability. Outside the clinic, Lindy enjoys cooking, reading, and live music. She lives with her husband and their pets, including her Golden Retriever, Lacey, who is a beloved fixture at our front desk.

Olivia has been a cherished member of the Center West Animal Hospital family since she graduated from Tri-C in 2019. Known for her radiant smile and positive energy, Olivia is an accomplished artist with a passion for ceramics, boasting works and award-winning sculptures. When she's not crafting masterpieces, she enjoys quality time with her 30-year-old, beloved OTTB horse, Cisco, and her 20-year-old Quarter Horse, Lucy, her flock of hens, and her adorable Papillons, Elliot and Radish. As our interior designer, Olivia's creative touch is behind the exciting upgrades at our clinic, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all!

Emma is a Registered Veterinary Technician with a deep-rooted passion for the fast-paced world of emergency medicine.  A 2021 graduate of Kent State University with a degree in Biology, Emma earned her professional licensure in 2023. Known for her calm under pressure and clinical expertise, she thrives on providing critical care when it matters most. Outside the hospital, Emma is an avid outdoorswoman who enjoys hiking, kayaking, and cycling. She shares her home with her beloved pit mix, Otter, and two cats, Simon and Toby.

Originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, Chanda joined Center West Animal Hospital in 2009, bringing a lifelong love for animals fostered on her childhood farm. Chanda’s true calling is supporting clients through the most difficult part of pet ownership. As a Certified Grief Coach and Pet Loss Bereavement Specialist, she offers expert guidance and compassion to families navigating loss. When she isn't helping clients or managing the front desk, Chanda is a dedicated "The Walking Dead" fan who enjoys logic puzzles and reading. She shares her home with a lively pack, including three cats and four dogs—most notably, Norman the Amazing Super Hound.

James has been a cornerstone of the Center West Animal Hospital team since 2016. Originally joining as a Client Care Specialist, his reliability and deep understanding of hospital operations naturally led him to his current role as Inventory Manager. James ensures the facility remains fully equipped and running seamlessly behind the scenes. Outside of work, he is an adventurous home cook and an avid gamer. He shares his home with his two Papillons, Franklin and Koda, who provide constant inspiration and a bit of mischief.
