Eligibility and Booking:
-
Active client status: The reduced spay/neuter service is exclusively for our current and active clients. If you are not a current and active client, please schedule an appointment at least 1 week prior to the surgery date.

-
Recent pet visit: Your pet must have been seen by one of our veterinarians for a wellness exam within the last 12 months. This allows us to ensure your pet is healthy enough for surgery and to discuss any specific needs or risks.

-
Required deposits: A non-refundable booking fee of $100 is required at the time of scheduling to secure your appointment. This deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the surgery.

-
Appointment confirmation: Appointments are limited and must be booked in advance. Walk-ins are not accepted for this discounted service
Day of Surgery

-
Check-in: Please arrive at the scheduled check-in time and stay in your vehicle. A staff member will notify you can enter the building.

-
Patient assessment: On the morning of surgery, a veterinary technician will perform a final health check to ensure your pet is fit for the procedure.

-
Cancellation and No-Shows policy: Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or no-shows will forfeit the deposit. You will have to pay the booking fee again, if allowed to reschedule. This policy helps us manage our limited surgery schedule effectively.
Pre-surgical Requirements
-
Pre-anesthetic testing: All pre-anesthetic testing must be completed at least 7-10 days prior to surgery date. This helps identify any underlying health issues that could pose a risk during the procedure. While we highly recommend pre-anesthetic testing for all surgical patients, this is not a requirement.

-
Required vaccinations: All pets must have up-to-date Rabies vaccine. If your pet is not current, one will be administered at an additional cost on the day of surgery.

-
Fasting: For the safety of your pet, please do not provide any food and/or treats after 9pm the night before the surgery. Water is acceptable until the morning of the procedure.
Post-surgical care
-
Discharge information: A member of our team will provide and review comprehensive post-operative care instructions with you. These instructions will cover medication, activity restrictions, and incision site care

-
Emergency procedures: In the event of an emergency or complication after hours, please refer to our provided emergency contact information.
